Educating with EDMODO | Educator Studio
For my RILS Project, I choose to use Edmodo.
My student were my case study for the project.
One of the challenges that I had to meet was allowing the student's to initially log in five at a time. I only have 5 computers in my classroom, and I wanted the students to have their initial introduction to Edmodo during our class period. The students were required to read and comment on a classmate's post, take a quiz on the site, and access an assignment. I think that they really enjoyed the interface of Edmodo, since it was very much like face book. The project was successful because, the student's were able to collaborate and share notes for the posted quiz, as well as communicate with students in other class's and other districts. I shared my experience with another teacher at my school. She also has set up an Edmodo page.

ReplyDeleteAwesome lesson plan. I used Edmodo with my RILS also. However, you put much more detail in yours. I really appreciate the items listed under materials. The list really prepares the teacher to hit the ground running with he project. I will also use EdModo for the classroom in the future. The kids love it. Thank you for sharing.

Vee, you always do great work with your students! I look forward to using Edmodo. As we move forward, I think it will work perfectly with my Action Research Project. It will also be a tremendous help for me to communicate with my students who are also my business partners in a business project/enterprise at our school. Great video!
